On this Fact Friday, we introduce you to Dr. Charles Roberts, Director of the Research Program in Solid Tumors and Physician at one of our 5 partner centers, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Roberts is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.  In 2003, he launched his own laboratory at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where his research focuses on the role of aberrant chromatin remodeling in cancer development. Currently in clinical trial at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a treatment targeting Cdk4 signaling in pediatric Rhabdoid tumors with $100,000 in grant money coming from Cookies for Kids’ Cancer.

Thanks to Dr. Roberts and all of our Good Cookie doctors for their hard work and dedication to finding new, essential treatments for pediatric cancer. Read below for what Dr. Roberts himself has to say about funding from Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. Together we can make a difference in the fight for children battling cancer.
