Pediatric cancer myths present enormous barriers to researchers receiving the funding they need. Over the next week, help us bust these myths. Go social using the hashtags #KidsCancerMyths and #WorldCancerDay and get others involved in the conversation

MYTH: I won’t see the impact of my support anytime soon.

FACT: In the past five years, Cookies for Kids’ Cancer has helped move seven new treatments into clinical trials, where they are available to children TODAY.

Cookies for Kids’ Cancer founder Gretchen Holt-Witt was once told by her son’s doctor that, “It’s not science that’s holding us back, it’s funding.”

We provide grants to the top researchers at the nation’s leading pediatric cancer centers so their groundbreaking research and promising new developments can become treatments used nationwide. Our Medical Advisory Board helps us determine the most critical needs and promising projects that are simply sitting on the shelves because of lack of funding to move forward.
